The Election Commission (EC) resumed its electoral dialogue to meet 12 more registered political parties today as part of its consultations ahead of the 13th national election scheduled for February next year.
The first session of the day started at 10:30am and is scheduled to continue until 12:00pm at the EC headquarters in Agargaon, Dhaka.
Representatives of Ganoforum, Ganofront, Islamic Front Bangladesh, Islami Oikya Jote, Bangladesh Shadhinata Party (BSP), and Bangladesh Jatiya Party joined the discussion.
The second session, scheduled from 2:00pm to 4:00pm, will include representatives of Bangladesh Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal, Bangladesh National Awami Party (Bangladesh NAP), Trinamool BNP, Krishok Shromik Jonota League, Bangladesh Khalafat Majlis, and Islami Andolan Bangladesh.
The EC began its electoral dialogue on November 13, meeting 12 parties on the opening day as part of its broader consultation process ahead of the upcoming polls.
