NCC Bank signs agreement with ICHIIBA to ease CMSME financing
NCC Bank has signed an agreement with ichiiba Limited to facilitate faster and easier access to bank loans for entrepreneurs in the cottage, micro, small and medium enterprises (CMSME) sector.
The partnership aims to enhance financial inclusion, improve supply chain efficiency and support the sustainable growth of small and medium businesses. Under the agreement, CMSME entrepreneurs within ichiiba's network will be able to access financing facilities for procurement, payments, collections and day-to-day business operations in suitable and potential areas.
The initiative is expected to create new opportunities for CMSME entrepreneurs and contribute to making the sector more modern and competitive.
The signing ceremony was held at NCC Bank's head office in Motijheel, Dhaka. Md Habibur Rahman, Deputy Managing Director of NCC Bank, and Nargish Fatema, Director of ichiiba Limited, signed and exchanged the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.
Also present at the event were M Khurshed Alam, Additional Managing Director; Mohammed Mizanur Rahman and Md Monirul Alam, Deputy Managing Directors; Nighat Mumtaz, EVP and Head of Sustainable and Women's Banking; Sharif Mohammad Mahsin, SVP and Head of SME; Md Sajjadul Islam, SVP and Head of ICT Division; and Shahin Akter Nuha, SVP and Head of Transaction Banking and Cash Management Division of NCC Bank.
From ichiiba Limited, Prof Dr Syed Akhter Hossain, Adviser, and Iftekhar Hossain, General Manager, were also present.
