Israel's use of white phosphorus in southern Lebanon has raised renewed concerns about the humanitarian and environmental damage. According to researcher Ahmad Baidoun, Israel carried out at least 195 white phosphorus attacks in southern Lebanon from October 2023 to October 2024.
