The Bangladesh U-17s were behind by 213 runs at the start of their second innings and ended day two on 107 for 6. On the final day, Sourav Karmakar and Junayed Hossain, stitched together a brilliant 195-run stand for the seventh wicket to stage a rearguard resistance before Junayed fell for 78. Karmakar hit a ton, but once he departed for a 257-ball 123, the Bangladesh innings ended on 278 all out.
Left-arm spinner Himaru Deshan was the pick of the bowlers with eight wickets for 93 runs. Sri Lanka finished the chase in just 10.2 overs, reaching 68 for 1 to win by nine wickets and tie the series.
