Police recovered the body of an unidentified young man from near the rail tracks in Nathpara area under Mirsarai upazila of Chattogram yesterday morning.

Locals noticed the body lying next to the rail tracks and informed Mirsarai Police Station and Chattogram Railway Police.

"Our team went to the spot and recovered the body. The identity of the deceased, aged approximately 30, could not be known immediately," said Rofiqul Hasan, OC of Chattogram Railway Police (GRP).

"The body has been sent to Chattogram Medical College morgue for autopsy," he added.
