A German air ambulance, being facilitated by the Emir of Qatar, will arrive in Dhaka to carry BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia to London for further treatment.

Qatar Embassy in Dhaka confirmed the development this evening.

Asadur Rahman, public relations officer (PRO) of the embassy, told The Daily Star that the Qatari government has already rented an air ambulance from a German company.

"Whenever the medical board of BNP leader Khaleda Zia approves, the air ambulance will fly to Dhaka to carry her to London," he said.
