Janata Bank PLC celebrated its Tarunyer Utshob 2025 today, highlighting the bank's commitment to digital transformation and customer-centric innovation.

Chief Adviser's Special Assistant Anisuzzaman Chowdhury attended the event as the chief guest and inaugurated the bank's customer service campaign along with the NFC-enabled Taka Pay Card.

Nazma Mobarek, Secretary of the Financial Institutions Division under the Ministry of Finance, attended as a special guest and launched the e-Credit Management System, marking a significant step forward in digitising the bank's lending operations.

The event was presided over by M Fazlur Rahman, Chairman of Janata Bank, while Managing Director Md Mojibur Rahman presented an overview of the bank's current performance and ongoing initiatives. Deputy Managing Directors Md Golam Mortuza, Md Fayez Alam, Md Nazrul Islam, and Md Ashraful Alam, along with other senior executives, were also present.

In his remarks, Anisuzzaman Chowdhury emphasised the importance of increasing credit flow to the SME sector, while Secretary Nazma Mobarek urged bank officials to ensure due diligence in selecting qualified borrowers.

Chairman M Fazlur Rahman stated that the new e-Credit Management System would make the lending process fully digital, transparent, and efficient. Managing Director Mojibur Rahman reaffirmed Janata Bank's determination to strengthen its foundation and overcome future challenges through innovation and sound management.
