Square Pharmaceuticals PLC declared a 120 percent cash dividend for the year ended 30 June 2025 at its 59th annual general meeting (AGM), held virtually on Monday, 15 December 2025.

The AGM was presided over by Samuel S Chowdhury, Chairman of the company.

Vice-Chairman Ratna Patra, Managing Director Tapan Chowdhury, Directors Anjan Chowdhury, Kazi Iqbal Harun and Muhammadul Haque (Independent Director), along with Md Kabir Reza, Head of Accounts and Finance, Md Zahangir Alam, Chief Financial Officer, and Khandaker Habibuzzaman, Company Secretary, were present at the meeting.

For the year ended 30 June 2025, the company reported a consolidated net turnover of Tk76.29 billion, gross profit of Tk36.52 billion, and net profit after tax of Tk20.78 billion. Compared to the previous year, consolidated net turnover, gross profit and net profit increased by 8.83 percent, 10.43 percent and 13.37 percent respectively.

During the year, Square Pharmaceuticals contributed Tk15.08 billion to the national exchequer.

The board of directors appreciated the performance of the company's officers, staff and workers, stating that their efforts played a key role in optimising profitability. The board also acknowledged the cooperation received from regulatory bodies, including the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission, stock exchanges, the National Board of Revenue and other public and private sector agencies.

Shareholders participated in the AGM and discussed the company's performance and future expansion plans. Concluding the meeting, Chairman Samuel S Chowdhury thanked shareholders for their continued trust and support.
