Tally Solutions, a business management software provider, recognised members of Dhaka's tax and accounting community for their role in driving technology adoption among micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Bangladesh.

To honour the contributions of chartered accountants (CAs), cost and management accountants (CMAs), company secretaries (CSs) and income tax practitioners (ITPs), Tally organised an on-ground event titled "Tax and Accounting Titans", recognising 20 professionals. More than 120 members of the tax and accounting community attended the event.

Projit Kumar Dash, Country Manager for Bangladesh at Tally Solutions, said the professional community had played a key role in enabling MSMEs to adopt integrated business management solutions.

"The community of CAs, CMAs, CSs and ITPs has significantly driven technology adoption among MSMEs in the country," he said. "At Tally, our objective is not only to streamline accounting and bookkeeping, but also to simplify overall business operations. Through the 'Tax and Accounting Titans' initiative, we aim to recognise their efforts in strengthening the ecosystem."

The tax and accounting ecosystem in Bangladesh has been instrumental in helping MSME owners navigate regulatory and operational challenges. Tally said its 'Tax and Accounting Titans' initiative was designed to acknowledge the sustained contributions of this professional network.

So far, the company has recognised more than 100 professionals under the initiative at events held in Dhaka.

Tally Solutions said it would continue working with the tax and accounting community to promote technology adoption, simplify business processes and support sustainable growth among MSMEs.
