A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Skill Development Institute of Atish Dipankar University of Science and Technology (ADUST) and the Dr. Mahabubur Rahman Molla Institute of Science and Technology to enhance collaboration in vocational education and national skills development.

The signing ceremony took place on Sunday, with Dr. ANM Ehsanul Haque Milon, former State Minister of Education and Director of the Skill Development Institute at ADUST, and Dr. Mahabubur Rahman Molla, founder of the Dr. Mahabubur Rahman Molla Institute, signing the agreement on behalf of their respective institutions.

Shamsul Alam Liton, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of ADUST, attended the event as a special guest. Officials from the Edust Skill Development Institute, along with faculty members and students of the Dr. Mahabubur Rahman Molla Institute, were also present.

In his address, Dr. Ehsanul Haque Milon highlighted the importance of aligning academic learning with practical skill-building to create an employable and future-ready workforce. He said the initiative reflects the vision of a "skilled, educated, and self-reliant Bangladesh," adding that effective collaboration between academia and technical institutions is key to national progress.

Shamsul Alam Liton noted that the partnership would launch a national skills program under ADUST's Skill Development Institute in collaboration with the students of the Dr. Mahabubur Rahman Molla Institute. He praised Dr. Molla's contribution to expanding access to quality education in underserved areas, saying his efforts "demonstrate how one institution can illuminate an entire region through knowledge and opportunity."

The MoU marks a step toward strengthening Bangladesh's technical and vocational education ecosystem, fostering joint programs, and enhancing opportunities for youth skill development across the country.
