Popular Indian singer-songwriter Nachiketa Chakraborty, known for his unique storytelling and soulful lyrics, has released a new song titled "Dakhina Batash." The track explores the colours of life and relationships, combining the essence of classic Nachiketa with a refreshing new sound.

The song comes with a visually rich, story-driven music video directed by Ishtiaque Ahmed, featuring performances by Mir Rabbi, Zara Noor, and Arabi Noman.

Written by Sohel Alam, "Dakhina Batash" is part of a ten-song project under Spriha Multimedia, with music composed by Dabbu. Alam explained that the song reflects emotional depth and realism — themes that resonate with Nachiketa's signature style.

Speaking about the release, Nachiketa said, "I recorded this song a few months ago. It's exactly the kind of music I love — one that carries emotional intensity and lyrical depth. I truly believe listeners will connect with it."

Lyricist Sohel Alam added, "Nachiketa always brings something different. The song portrays the complexities of relationships — the push and pull of human connection. Having him sing my lyrics is an incredible honour, and I'm confident the audience will love it."

Director Ishtiaque Ahmed shared that creating visuals for a Nachiketa song came with great responsibility: "Because it's Nachiketa's song, the pressure was immense. That very pressure drove us to deliver our absolute best."

"Dakhina Batash" is now streaming on Spriha Multimedia's official YouTube channel.
